It’s summer and that means it’s time to be outdoors.  No matter your toy, be it a salvage ATV, salvage jet ski or one of the many salvage boats for sale, please keep safety in mind.  We have a few guidelines:

ATV Riding Tips 

• Always wear a helmet and other protective gear.
• Ride only on designated trails.
• No drinking or using drugs when you ride a salvage ATV.
• No giving friends a lift on a single-rider vehicle.
• Select the appropriate salvage ATV for the driver’s age, size, skill level and strength.

Jet Ski Tips

• Make sure your salvage jet ski is registered.
• Have a working fire extinguisher and a noise-making device, such as a referee's whistle, onboard.
• Have Coast Guard-approved life jackets for anyone riding your salvage jet ski. 
• Keep a cell phone or CB radio handy in case of bad weather or accidents.
• Ensure proper maintenance: sufficient oil, cleaning the engine compartment, and check the grease fittings.

 Boating Tips

• Remember that some states require a safety certificate for any water vessel that has a motor.  Check your state’s regulations before you research salvage boats for sale.

• Obey the manufacturer’s recommended passenger capacity.
• No booze or drugs when you operate any boat.
